In Islam, filial piety is equated with the command of tawhid (Oneness of God), establishing it as a fundamental moral principle. The method employed is a qualitative descriptive semantic study , utilizing primary data in the form of Qur'anic verses and supported by secondary data (exegesis books such as Tafsir Al-Misbah, Ibnu Katsir, and Al-Qurtubi). The semantic analysis is applied to analyze the development and expansion of the key words' meanings within the verse. The findings indicate that the literal meaning of the word "uff" is an expression of grumbling, annoyance, or resentment , and it is even interpreted as "everything that is dirty and worthless". However, within the context of Al-Isra' verse 23, the word "uff" functions as the lowest threshold of speech that is strictly forbidden and can hurt the parents' feelings. This prohibition is not limited to saying "ah" or "cis" , but encompasses all forms of speech, action, or even the smallest attitude, including a head shake or a sullen face, which shows displeasure or disobedience ('uquq al-walidain). The emphasis on this prohibition becomes crucial when parents enter old age (al-kibar) , a time when the child's patience is tested and both parents require extra attention. The verse instructs children not to scold or rebuke (walā tanharhumā) and always to utter a noble word (qaulan karīman) , which means speaking softly, politely, and with full respect. In conclusion, the prohibition of "uff" is the minimum ethical boundary that must be adhered to; failure to restrain this lowest form of utterance indicates the potential for greater acts of disobedience.
2026-01-23T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Al-Idrak: Interdisciplinary Journalhttps://ejournal.staiduba.ac.id/index.php/Alidrak/article/view/692Inspirasi Al-Qur’an dalam Pendidikan: Kajian Al-Isrā’ Ayat 84 sebagai Dasar Pengembangan Strategi Gaya Belajar Bahasa Arab2026-01-20T01:11:02+00:00Wiwik Prasetiyo Ningsihwiwik.prasetiya.nings@gmail.com
Arabic language learning in Indonesia often faces challenges related to
students’ diverse learning styles, including visual, auditory, and
kinesthetic. Many teachers still apply uniform methods, causing some
students to struggle with understanding the material and lose motivation.
Based on the Qur’anic principle in Surah Al-Isrā’ verse 84, which states
that each person acts according to their syakilatih (innate tendencies), this
study aims to examine strategies for teaching Arabic that align with
students’ individual characteristics and learning preferences. This study
employs a qualitative approach with a library research method, analyzing
the interpretation of Surah Al-Isrā’ verse 84 from Al-Misbah and Ibn
Kathir, as well as literature on learning styles and Arabic language
teaching strategies. Data were collected through documentation of tafsir
and relevant educational sources, then analyzed using content analysis to
explore the relevance of Qur’anic principles to modern teaching practices.
The findings indicate that teaching strategies tailored to visual, auditory,
and kinesthetic learning styles can enhance students’ comprehension,
motivation, and engagement. An integrative approach combining all three
learning styles provides a more comprehensive and inclusive learning
experience, aligning with students’ natural tendencies. Consequently,
Arabic language instruction becomes more effective and meaningful
2026-01-20T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Al-Idrak: Interdisciplinary Journalhttps://ejournal.staiduba.ac.id/index.php/Alidrak/article/view/615KONSEP HUTANG PIUTANG DALAM Al-QUR’AN QS. AL-BAQARAH: 2822025-11-23T06:15:59+00:00Mohammad Ruslanruslanfaza161@gmail.com
Debt and credit constitute an important aspect of the economic life of communities and often give rise to social problems when they are not properly regulated. The Qur’an provides detailed guidance on this matter, particularly in QS. al-Baqarah: 282, which is known as the longest verse and contains principles of justice, documentation, and the protection of the rights of both parties. This study aims to examine the concept of debt and credit in the Qur’an through a comparative study of Tafsir al-Maraghi by Ahmad Mustafa al-Maraghi and Tafsir al-Azhar by Buya Hamka. The research employs a library-based method with a thematic (maudhu‘i) tafsir approach, enabling an analysis of the similarities and differences in the interpretations of the two exegetes. The findings show that both scholars emphasize the importance of justice and proper documentation in debt transactions; however, al-Maraghi places greater emphasis on legal aspects and social welfare within the context of early twentieth-century Egyptian society, while Buya Hamka highlights moral and ethical dimensions and their relevance to the socio-cultural conditions of Indonesia. Thus, this study affirms that the principles of debt and credit in the Qur’an are universal, while remaining adaptable to the dynamics of communities across time and space
2026-01-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Al-Idrak: Interdisciplinary Journalhttps://ejournal.staiduba.ac.id/index.php/Alidrak/article/view/709Nilai-Nilai Kebangsaan dan Pendidikan Karakter Dalam Piagam Tri Sakti Pondok Pesantren Banyuanyar: Kajian Tematik Hadis2026-01-29T14:54:11+00:00Mabrurrosi Mabrurrosimabrurrosi91@gmail.com

The Tri Sakti Charter of Banyuanyar Islamic Boarding School is a formulation of values that serves as a guide for students’ behavior as citizens who are committed to doing good and bringing benefit to others. It embodies principles of nationalism, scholarship, and devotion. This study aims to analyze the values contained in the Tri Sakti Charter through a thematic study of the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The research identifies the relevance of each element of the charter—ranging from conduct and behavior, the Panca Bakti, to the 4A concept—with supporting hadiths. The findings indicate that the values embedded in the Tri Sakti Charter have a strong foundation in the hadiths, and therefore can serve as guidelines for character education of students that are in harmony with Islamic teachings while remaining relevant to national and civic life. These findings further emphasize the role of Islamic boarding schools as institutions that integrate religious education, moral formation, competence, and devotion within a comprehensive value framework.

2026-01-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Al-Idrak: Interdisciplinary Journalhttps://ejournal.staiduba.ac.id/index.php/Alidrak/article/view/703RELEVANSI ANTARA LAJU POPULASI DAN KETAHANAN EKONOMI PERSPEKTIF HADIST SUNAN ABI DAUD NO. 20502026-01-24T13:40:30+00:00Saodatul Maghfirohnurul.azizah0645@gmail.com
Purpose- This study is to explain the increase in human population. How it impacts the economy, what are the strategies for dealing with it, and how Islam views the problem of population increase. Method- This study is disqualified as a qualitative study with a descriptive method. The analysis was conducted with a thematic and contextual approach to the hadith, associated with Islamic economic theories and population policies. Findings- The Hadith of Sunan Abi Daud No. 2050 which encourages people to marry women who are loving and fertile shows that Islam views population growth positively as part of the strength of the people. In the context of economic resilience, some parties view high population rates as a strategic potential, because a large population can be a productive human resource and a broad economic market. This pro view emphasizes the importance of utilizing population as development capital through education and empowerment. However, on the other hand, there is a contra view that considers that population growth without careful planning can cause various problems such as unemployment, poverty, and social inequality. Therefore, although this hadith contains positive encouragement for the quantity of the people, its application must be accompanied by a contextual approach so that the population rate truly supports economic resilience, not a burden on social life and development
2026-01-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Al-Idrak: Interdisciplinary Journal
