Author Guidelines
The Editor of Syura Journal accepts articles under the following conditions:
1. General Requirements
- The manuscript must be original, has not been published, accepted, or submitted elsewhere.
- Authors must submit a plagiarism-free statement.
- The journal only accepts manuscripts in the field of Law.
- Manuscripts must be submitted in .docx format (Microsoft Word) via the journal system/email.
2. Language and Formatting
- Articles may be written in Indonesian or Arabic.
- Indonesian manuscripts: Book Antiqua, size 12, 1.5 spacing, A4 paper.
- Arabic manuscripts: Utsman Thaha, size 16, single spacing, A4 paper.
- Length: 3,500–7,500 words, including citations, references, tables, and figures.
3. Transliteration and Citations
- Arabic-Latin transliteration follows the Indonesian government standard (SKB No. 158/1987 and 0543b/U/1987).
- Direct quotations:
- Arabic: Utsman Thaha (size 12)
- Indonesian/English: Book Antiqua (size 10)
- All non-English/Arabic quotations must include translation.
4. Manuscript Structure
- Title (5–12 words)
- Author(s) (without academic titles), including affiliation and email
- Abstract (150–250 words: problem, method, significance, results)
- Keywords (3–5 terms)
Sections:
- Introduction (background, problem, significance)
- Method (research type, approach, data collection)
- Results and Discussion (analysis and findings)
- Conclusion (summary + recommendations)
- References
5. Citation Style
- The journal uses APA Style (in-text citation)
- Authors are encouraged to use reference managers such as Mendeley or Zotero
- References should prioritize sources from the last 5–10 years
